AGRIVOLTAICS

A technique already used in Japan, France and the United States, agrivoltaism makes it possible to:

  • Protect crops against heat waves (shading has a cooling effect)

  • Save water (up to 20% savings)

  • Protect crops from frost (panels can act as a greenhouse in frost)

This technique is a combination of two concepts :
